How we Make it

The PPL-lined hydrothermal autoclave is manufactured by mainly two components; Polyparaphenol (PPL inner vessel) and stainless steel (SS316) outer shell. The PPL inner liner is resistant to corrosion, highly acidic, and alkaline solutions. Those who need better temperature stability, prefer this reactor over a Teflon-lined autoclave. We produced this autoclave in 25ml, 50ml, 100ml, 150ml, 200ml, 250ml and 500ml capacity.

Two significant properties in the PPL vessel camber distinguish with Teflon vessel, which is temperature and color. The PPL-lined reactor has a higher temperature resistance and is black in color. It is also named a high-temperature reactor. The PPL vessel hydrothermal autoclave is more costly as compared to the Teflon vessel autoclave. The reactor setup’s maximum operating temperature is 280 °C, and the safe temperature is 260 °C for the continuous reaction. The maximum design pressure is 3Mpa. It disintegrates the refractories and complex material quickly. The PPL autoclave should heat in the oven, maintaining the cooling and heating rate at 5 °C/ min.

The PPL-lined hydrothermal autoclave mainly developed in a treaded type arrangement, making it more suitable for smaller volumes. The liner is a closed container with an airtight lid, which avoids the spillage of solution at high pressure. The outer SS body contains two caps; one is primary, and another is secondary. The secondary cap is a smaller one, which is extremely important to press the liner into the outer shell.
